THREE (03) YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT (ATTACHED TO THE TERM OF OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE MAYOR)

Basic Salary

TOTAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE: R921 737.28 (ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE)

Requirement

Grade 12 • Bachelor Degree in Public Administartion • Minimum of five (05) years’ experience of which three (03) years’ experience at a Managerial level and two (02) years’ experience in a similar environment • Competency in the use of computers especially in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, internet and Publisher • A Valid Driver’s License

Key Performance Areas

Manage the overall running of the Office of Executive Mayor • Manage the Executive Mayor’s calendar and ensure deadlines are met • Keep the Executive Mayor up rest on current Municipal Climate (project status and new proposals) • Attend executive meeting and Act as a representative of the Office and deliver progress reports • Coordinate strategic business iniatives and guide the completions thereof • Supervise daily operations and help oversee projects of high importance • Produce Office weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports • Act as a liaision between the office of the Executive Mayor and Mayoral Committee Members and Management • Facilitate Mayoral Committee meeting and follow up on the implementation of resolutions thereof • Provide support for Integrated Development Plan and Budget road shows within the District • Act as Chief Protocol Officer for the institution • Supervise all staff allocated to the Office of the Executive Mayor inclusive of MMc Clerk • Prepares and monitors office’s budget and planning annual budget • Assess inquiries directed to the office of the Executive Mayor and determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual to manage.
