Requirement

Grade 12 • ND / Degree / B.Tech/ Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5-6 years’ experience with the water sector or NQF Level qualification in water resources management field /discipline • 2 years’ experience in considerable project management and supervisory in the civil engineering field • Compulsory registration with ECSA/ candidate construction project manager with SACPCMP • Code EB Driving License • Innovative, research background, ability to share information, lead a multi-disciplinary team are key requirements for this post

Key Performance Areas

: Co-ordinates specific sequences / requirements associated with the Department • PROJECT MONITORING AND CONTROL : Monitors and controls key performance areas and deliverables associated with capital, rehabilitative and/ or maintenance projects and programmes • COMMUNICATION AND REPORTING: Responding, through the collection of factual information and/ or conducting the necessary investigation/ research, to enquiries and concerns on service delivery and/ or services from the general public, councilors and government departments • ADMINISTRATION: Coordinates specific administrative and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicators of the functionality by Develop and implement water loss strategies, metering management and enhance water services revenue.
