MANAGER: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT(NOTICE NO 02/2018/2019)

Basic Salary

TOTAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE: R921 737.28 (ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE)

Requirement

Grade 12 • Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management /Public Administration/ or National Diploma in Human Resources Management NQF Level 06/ or any equivalent qualification relevant to the field • Computer Literacy – Office Application • Minimum of five years’ experience of which three (03) years must be in Managerial position and two (02) years’ experience in Human Resources Management • A valid driver’s license • Membership to relevant professional body for Human Resources Practitioners will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of the Local Government sector and applicable legislation • Knowledge of the Local Government Sector and related legislations • Strong supervisory skills • Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills • Good report writing skills • Strategic leadership and Management Capabilities.

Key Performance Areas

Manage and implement personnel management functions focusing on Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development of the personnel in the section, Benefit Administration, Payroll processing and performance management and policy review • Analyze and Monitor statistical information pertaining to staff attendance & leave overtime & shift to addressing deviations or occurrences of abuse and/ or workplace conflict through the implementation of corrective measure in accordance with human resource policies and procedures • Occupational Health and Safety performance management • Manage participate and controls procedure and process associated with maintaining employment relations and industrial peace within the Municipality.
