Basic Salary

ANNUAL BASIC SALARY R278 079.00 PLUS BENEFITS

Requirement

Grade 12 • Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 06) or Equivalent Degree/Diploma • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the Local Government of which 01 year of experience at a supervisory level • Competency in the use of computers especially in Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Internet • A Valid driver’s license.

Key Competency Skills

Knowledge of municipal applicable legislations • report writing skills.

Key Performance Areas

Coordinate and control meeting of council and related structure •.Provide secretarial support to various committees and sub-committee sitting within the district • Perform administrative activities associated with preparation of documents and correspondence for circulation to members or attendees • Provide technical advice and supervision to the Council Support Unit • Link with other departments and local municipalities in implementing a municipal calendar of events or programmers to ensure there is synergy.
