: Coordinate integration of Special groupings programmes in the Integrated Development Plan by ensuring the participation of the affected groups in the IDP and Budget Processes and assess beneficiation of Special Groupings in the Municipal Programmes
• Develop & Monitor the Unit SDBIP • Ensure submission of Weekly, Monthly and quarterly plans and reports to the Municipal Manager • Ability to work under pressure and the incumbent will relate closely to the Office of the Executive Mayor • To provide technical support to Special Groups, monitor and maintain special programmes in the district • To raise awareness, advocate and lobby for special programmes and projects of the special groups • Develop, review and implement socio- economic development policies and programmes in the Special Programmes Unit to ensure Special Programmes Mainstreaming • Establishment of Special Programmes FOR A and their Capacity building • Promote relations between Gender Forum, Youth Council, Older Person’s Forum, Children Advisory Council, Disability Forum by ensuring that sit quarterly • Monitor and maintain the HIV/AIDS, TB Structure which is the District AIDS Council • Advocate for delivery on the constitutional mandate and coordination of Special Groupings rights, activities are integral part of this function • Ensure implementation of Calendar events, campaigns and programmes initiated by National and Provincial government e.g. Child Protection Week, Human Rights Month, 16 Days of Activism on No Violence against Women and Children’s etc • Perform any related tasks and assignments as may be delegated by the Municipal Manager.
