Basic Salary

ANNUAL BASIC SALARY R278 079.00 PLUS BENEFITS

Requirement

Grade 12 • A recognized National Diploma in Civil/Building Engineering/ Any Equivalent NQF Level 06 Qualifications in Water Resources Management Field • Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience in Water and Sanitation Sector • A minimum of one (01) year at Supervisor level in water and sanitation sector • A Valid driver’s license • Competency in the use of computers especially in Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Internet.

Key Competency Skills

Knowledge of municipal applicable legislation • Good Communication skills.

Key Performance Areas

Monthly water balances using the international Water Association (IWA) standards and reporting the same to Department of water and sanitation (DWS) • Flow and pressure measurement within water supply systems • Planning and implementation of active leak detection surveys using different techniques and supervising repair of the same nature • Project Management • Performance and Personnel Management.
