Basic Salary



grade 12 • National Diploma in Building/Civil Engineering or B Tech Civil Engineering/Construction Management • Minimum 03 year’s relevant experience in water and sanitation projects of which 01 year experience at a Supervisory level in water and sanitation sector • Computer Literacy • A Valid driver’s license.

Knowledge of the Local Government sector and applicable legislation.

Key Performance Areas

Integrate, co-ordinate, project manage and financially administrator MIG Project • Coordinates and performs task/activities associated with projects implementation functions for the functionality • Monitoring the progress of the project and ensuring work is conducted according to designs and specifications • Maintaining record of on-going project costs and ensure that the project remains within budget, including taking cognizance of cash flow requirements and reports to Project Manager if required • Facilitating the process of employment of local Labour sourced from communities • Facilitating the appointment of sub-contractors for implementation of projects • Verifying all payment schedules for consultant and contract by visiting site and verifying work done • Verifying that the consultant and contractor meet the laid down specifications regarding material safety etc • Advised management on to deviations necessitated by circumstances on site i.e. site conditions, delays, site references etc, as long as financial impact is within parameters • Assessing project status before recommending sign off• Conducting site visit/ meeting to ensure compliance with business plan conditions • Assisting with other related municipal infrastructure programmes Closing date: 13 MARCH 2020 Please note: Applicants must submit a completed ANDM Employment Form obtained from our offices or on our website ( and a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae with exposition of their experience and competencies with certified copies of qualifications, Identity document and license where applicable.
