Basic Salary

TOTAL REMUNERATION PACKAGE: R821 496.50 (ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE)

Requirement

STATIONED PLACE: MOUNT AYLIFF (MAIN OFFICES) grade 12 • National Diploma in Building/Civil Engineering or B Tech Civil Engineering/Construction Management • Compulsory registration as a candidate technician with ECSA/Candidate construction project manager with SACPCMP • Computer Literacy • Minimum of five (05) years’ relevant experience in water and sanitation projects • Minimum of 03 years’ experience in Supervisory level position • A Valid driver’s license.

Knowledge of the Local Government sector and applicable legislation • Good communication skills • willing and readiness to work long hours and under pressure.

Key Performance Areas

Integrate, coordinate, project manage and financially administration MIG Project • Manage and administer contracts and Budgets • Preparation of monthly, Quarterly, Annual Reports for submission to DPLG as determined in the applicable legislation/required by the MIG Management unit • Delivering technical support and evaluation proposed project in alignment with the respective municipal IDPS and the regional and provincial growth and development plans • Ensuring compliance with all legal aspects and conditions, as required by the various spheres of government • Conducting site visit/meeting to ensure compliance with business plan conditions • Managing cash flows and committed project expenditure • Verify payment certificates and preparing monthly payment schedule documentation • Maintain project performance data on a national database • Assisting with other related municipal infrastructure programmes.
