Luyengweni community’s dignity restore, this is after the former Portfolio head for corporate service who is now the Chief Whip Cllr Nomvuyo Msokana handed over VIP sanitation facilities. “We are here today sent by the Executive Mayor Cllr Sixolile Mehlomakhulu to official handover the completed project as part of reinstating people’s dignity” said Msokana. She further said these are strides the municipality is embarking on to change people’s lives regardless of where they live.

The Alfred Nzo District Municipality built five hundred and fifty Vip toilets to Luyengweni communities ward 24 in Kwa Bhaca worth an amount of R6 000 000.00 with six hundred and fifty households to benefit and 67 jobs opportunities created during the building process.

Meanwhile Nomziwethu Mdingi a community member of Luyengweni Village expressed her gratitude saying they are overwhelmed as communities now that the day has final come. “The project ran smoothly without a complaints or hiccups and we are satisfied with the structure of the toilet and it’s promising to last for longer.” said Mdingi.
